What NileShopper is

NileShopper is a price aggregator. We track publicly listed prices, stock status and product details across a number of independent Egyptian online stores and show them side by side so you can compare them. We do not sell any of the products listed on this site, we do not process payments, and we do not fulfil or ship orders. Every purchase you make happens entirely on the store's own website, under that store's own terms.

What we collect

We collect basic, anonymous usage data - things like pages visited, search terms entered, and which categories or stores you click through to - so we can tell which parts of the catalog are actually useful. This is aggregate analytics, not a profile tied to your identity. We do not require an account to search or compare prices, and we do not collect payment details, shipping addresses, or any other personal information on your behalf - those are entered on the store's own site, not ours.

Standard technical data (IP address, browser type, device type) is logged by our infrastructure and hosting providers as a normal part of serving the site, in line with typical web server practice.

Cookies and local storage

We use minimal, functional local storage to remember light preferences such as your chosen theme and whether you have already seen the onboarding message. We do not use tracking cookies to build advertising profiles.

Third-party stores

Clicking "Visit Store" on any product takes you to a third-party website that we do not operate and do not control. Once you leave NileShopper, that store's own privacy policy applies to any information you provide there. We encourage you to review it before completing a purchase.
